DEADLINE
Entries for the 2008 Creator Awards must be received no later than May 20, 2008.

ELIGIBILITY
The Creator Awards is open to all creative professionals and students involved in producing communication materials for external or internal audiences. To be eligible for the 2008 Creator Awards, an entry must have been completed in 2007 for legitimate paying clients, self-promotion, or student work. Or this year you can run in our new category for best work created but never approved. (Category T: Best work that never ran)

ENTRIES
Entries into the Creator Awards must be made through our official ENTRY FORM available on our Web site. Send your work with all the completed forms and payment to the Creator Awards, LLC, P.O. Box 326, Cabin John, MD 20818-0326.

If your work is too big you may send an 8 x 10 photograph or proof.

All foreign language entries must be accompanied by English translation.

Audio, video and multi-media entries must be submitted on a Mac formatted CD-Rom. Submit web site entries on a Mac formatted CD-Rom, or provide the web address.

A piece may be entered in more than one category at an additional cost. It is not necessary to send multiple copies of the same piece. If you cannot find a suitable category, you can create your own. If your write-in category falls under one of our general categories please write in the corresponding letter and “other”. If your category does not fall under one of our general categories just write “other”.

Please attach a WORK FORM to each entry.

Please type all forms.

Entries will not be returned.

FEES
The fees are broken down into two categories: Students and Professionals. The entry fee for Professionals is $55.00 per single entry and $75.00 per campaign. For students the entry fee is $35.00 per single entry and $45.00 per campaign. US dollars only. If you are entering a piece in more than one category you must pay the entry fee for each category.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and checks. Please fill out the appropriate information on the ENTRY FORM. For checks please indicate “check enclosed” on the ENTRY FORM. Make your check payable to Creator Awards, LLC.

CONFIRMATION
If you would like to be notified when your work is received please fill out the CONFIRMATION FORM. Make sure to check the box on the ENTRY FORM for confirmation requested.

JUDGING
Each piece of work will be carefully reviewed by award-winning professionals and educators who have been chosen based on their extensive experience and proven creativity. Entries will not only be judged against each other, they will also be judged against the high standard of excellence our judges bring to the competition.

Platinum, Gold and Silver awards will be assigned in each category as the judges see fit. The Platinum award represents an unparalleled communication that is the best of the show and will only be awarded when the judges see work that truly stands out from the rest of the competition. The Gold award will be given to those entries whose ability to communicate puts them among the best in the field. The Silver award will be given to those works that exceed industry standards in quality and excellence.

WINNERS
The Creator Awards will notify the winners via email on or about the July 1, 2008. The notification will include information the winners can use to promote their achievement as well as a confirmation of the certificate they will be receiving.

Platinum and Gold winners will be invited to purchase the coveted Creator statue. In order to keep our entry fees to a minimum winners will be required to purchase the Creator statue for $175.00 each. Additional certificates and awards are available for an additional fee.

All winners will be listed on Creator Awards’ web site and in Creator Magazine.

LEGAL INFORMATION
The Creator Awards retains the right print your company name, client name, photo, and artwork on the Creator Awards’ Web site or marketing materials for promotional purposes.

Creator Awards assumes all submitted artwork are the work and/or property of the designer or firm submitting the work. Creator Awards will not be liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the contestant.

The Creator Awards shall not be held accountable or responsible for any lost or stolen awards, certificates or entries. Fees are non-refundable for any reason once the entry has been submitted.
